My time at OkCupid

 

I was one of three product designers at OkCupid which empowered me to own the end-to-end product design process from inception to launch, including running experiments to understand user behavior and inform product decisions. I spent some time on the monetization team working to increase revenue for our a la carte product offerings.

I then moved to the Profiles team where I worked on the dater onboarding, profile creation, and presenting dynamic profiles.

I have also had the unique opportunity to work on OkCupid’s internationalization strategy getting ready for launch in our first international market — India.

Going beyond the design process, I worked closely with marketing, brand, and PR to craft our campaign, conducted field research in India with female daters, and informed product strategy for safety, identity, and international relevance.
