My time at Meetup

I joined Meetup to work on the initiative to rethink the Events product. The work largely overlaps with my prior work balancing structured and unstructured data collection and presentation. This paired with my keen interest in building offline experiences has made it a natural progression from designing for dating products.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with world-class designers and researchers to untangle complex problems that are unique to a double-sided marketplace. I’m currently working with our product team to build a vision for what community and social connections look like in the future.

I also had the unique opportunity to work on enabling Meetup to support online events in the wake of the COVID crisis, realizing that a feeling sense of community is ever important.
